Well no actually. While I think its pretty scary. After the intial shock, it just dies down a bit. Its still scary at some points..... but for now, im used to most of it. If you want to see me actually review the game. heres a link to where I write reviews.

It's not supposed to be in-your-face zombies running ever where scary. It's more like a creeping sense of dread as you wander all alone through a dark, creepy place, never know what's waiting for you around the corner. That combined with the music and sound effects creates an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty that sticks with you far longer than a simple jump scare would.
ReplyDeleteOf course, this has a greater effect on some people than others. SH3 is much louder and has more things running at you so it's less creeping dread and more run-away-and-panic.
But yeah, if you can't tell, I love the shit outta SH. XD
